AzimuthIT is a company that provides smart, innovative, dedicated, high-available software solutions to the aviation industry. We specialize web-based JEE systems that increase productivity, simplify operational processes, and improve situational awareness. Our mission is to fit the exact customer needs. AzimuthIT was created by a group of aviation industry experts, software developers and engineers sharing their efforts to fill the gap in the market of solutions for airlines and associated companies. In time our company grew with the ambition to utilize the best practices and provide software guaranteeing the success of airlines regardless of their size, range of operations or place in the World. AzimuthIT officially joined the Smart4Aviation Group in 2011. Smart4Aviation is a company founded on passion for aviation and idea to harness the power of the Web in airline industry’s service. Smart4Aviation combines over ten years of aviation and aeronautical experts’ knowledge now with the skills and ability of AzimuthIT specialists! The headquarters is placed in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. AzimuthIT’s goal is understanding Customer’s needs and providing them with the most efficient solution. Thanks to our cooperation with Smart4Aviation we can legitimate ourselves with over a decade of experience and expertise in providing the state-of-the-art IT solutions. We specialize in customized JEE systems development for which we provide 24/7 support services. Selected modules of Smart Suite can be delivered for EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) or for mobile devices such as phones, PDAs or tablets. Depending on Airline's requirements mobile version of a product can have the same or limited functionality as the standard version. A mobile version of a product can be either web-based (executable on any mobile device equipped with a web browser), native (designed and developed for a specific device only - iPhone, Blackberry and Android) or notification-based (only sms, email or push notifications sent from the standard system to a mobile device). Apart from Java programming skills our team has deep insight and understanding of the following products used as a platform for our systems: Databases: Oracle, IBM DB2, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Application servers: IBM WebSphere, Oracle GlassFish, WebLogic, Orion, Tomcat, JBoss, Message-oriented middleware: Tibco, IBM WebSphere MQ, ActiveMQ. Our dedicated mobile applications are widely commented in the international aviation market and have received many prestigious awards, including: “Mercurys” Award in Processes and Systems category, “Best Technical Innovation – Airline”, “The Webbies” in Best Mobile Application category. |
