Development Institute is an independent research foundation, which aims to conduct and promote research innovation and enhancing competitiveness of the society and economy. The Foundation inspires and conducts scientific researches in management and social sciences. Our activities focuses on promoting the practical application of scientific results in the socio-economic policy at the central, regional and local levels.

The main objectives that guided the founders of the Institute relate to social, economic and related environment development. These includes in particular:
• Undertake and support initiatives to develop knowledge and knowledge-based economy in Poland, including the development of entrepreneurship;
• conducting educational and scientific activities in these areas of science that are important for the development of civilization, culture and economy of Poland and country’s international prestige;
• carrying out activities on behalf of European integration and  developing contacts and cooperation between societies.

The effects of our work is reflected in the reports, opinions, studies, evaluations, partner international projects, classes and lectures conducted by our staff, in co-organizing conferences and symposia and national and international publications.
